ERA'S OF ABYSS
Abyss has had so many looks throughout the years. Below are all the variants of his look, with pictures, descriptions and dates.
PRE ABYSS
Before he became Abyss, Chris Park wrestled as "Crazy" Chris Justice, Prince Justice and King Justice.
Originally wrestling in a all blue attire (long blue tights, blue top), he would eventually move on to wearing singlets, first a one shoulder singlet (ala Big Show) and then a dark singlet with red or purple design, as seen on the first NWA TNA Weekly PPV.
IWA ABYSS
Abyss originally wore purple and black face paint in IWA Puerto Rico that matched his singlet. He then went onto a Kane style mask which was black and red, he often had a black and red singlet to match.
This was the only time that he had his left eye of the mask exposed, after this mask, it was always his right eye.
TNA ABYSS DEBUT
When Abyss made his re-debut with NWA TNA in 2003, he wore a blue shirt and blue denim jeans.
He would make the change to black jeans on August 14th 2003.
His mask was a different one from IWA Puerto Rico, this was a black mask, showing his right eye.
"CLASSIC" ABYSS
Abyss started the transition from the debut attire to the classic Abyss on the April 14th weekly PPV, when he changed his mask to a new, darker mask.
Then on the June 16th, he would replace his blue shirt with a black shirt, with skull and cross bones down one side, and symbols down the other side.
His final change came on July 21st, when he started wearing an all black shirt. He would keep with this attire in the next few years.
RED & BLACK ABYSS
Abyss started 2007 wearing his "Classic Attire". On the February 8th 2008 IMPACT! Abyss debuted a new red mask, as Sting had his normal, black mask. Abyss completed the look by debuting a black with red shirt on the March 1st 2008 episode of IMPACT! Although Abyss would sometimes wear the black mask and black shirt - this red and black look was the main look until
"ASYLUM" ABYSS
After taking his mask off and committing himself to an Asylum, Abyss returned at Slammiversary 2008 with a new Grey/Black mask, which now opened up to show Abyss's mouth, and white overalls.
"MICHAEL MYERS" ABYSS
After breaking away from Dr Stevie, Abyss showed off a new look. Debuting the look at Victory Road 2009. Abyss wore a black mask, a green vest and a sleeveless blue shirt. Sometimes he would have a dark vest and a plaid shirt. Abyss also started wearing a hooded dark grey coat with a sleeveless brown vest. I call this the "Michael Myers" look due to his coat reminding me of Michael Myers in Rob Zombie's Halloween II during this time.
