This was a Steel Cage Warfare match, which was a single ring, war games style elimination cage match between Generation Next (Austin Aries, Jack Evans, Matt Sydal & Roderick Strong) and The Embassy (Abyss, Alex Shelley, Jimmy Rave & Prince Nana).
The Embassy had the advantage and Abyss came in 3rd for his team, with Alex Shelley and Jimmy Rave already being in the match. Matt Sydal and Austin Aries teamed up on Abyss, but Abyss was the fresh man and soon overpowered them.
The Embassy kept the advantage going, Abyss threw Aries into the steel and Shelley used a steel chair on Sydal.
After Roderick Strong entered the match, but soon got thrown into the cage by Abyss. Abyss also managed to get a double rotation Black Hole Slam on Sydal, followed by a Pedigree by Rave – eliminating him from the match.
Generation Next had a 4 on two advantage, until Jack Evans came out and came off the cage with a double moonsault onto The Embassy.
Abyss would be eliminated when Jack would dive off the cage again and get the pin.
Eventually Generation Next would get the win, ending their feud with The Embassy.
This was Abyss’s only pinfall lose in ROH.
